Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Global Law Firm) Company: AM 100 Law Firm Location: New York, New York (hybrid) Comp Package: Base to $90K, Paid Overtime, Full Benefits, Bonus, Tuition Reimbursement, 401K+, etc. Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable Specialist : Assist with handling multiple complex A/R and client analysis projects Clearly communicate and respond to inquiries and requests made by clients, attorneys, and support staff Responsible for accruals, A/R, and relevant e-billing issues for the Firm's financial clients. Follow-up of client bills and follow-up on outstanding balances with billing, secretarial, and other Firm staff Understand and respond to inquiries and requests made by clients, attorneys, and support staff Maintain client and vendor e-billing relationships on an on-going basis. Research and escalate aged A/R and unbilled balances for Firm-wide clients Prepare A/R write-offs as needed Develop payment solutions while liaising with pricing and billing teams. Qualifications for Accounts Receivable Specialist: 2+ years’ experience with collections analysis and accounts receivable in law firm or professional services required Bachelors Degree a plus Strong customer service skills; ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate to build successful relationships with all levels of personnel Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with a sense of accuracy Proficiency in MS Office. Minimum of intermediate Excel proficiency, advanced Excel a plus Powered by JazzHR
