Accounts Payable Specialist Circle Development, a locally owned holding company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for the accounts payable for multiple sites within the company. This position will collect, post, track, obtain approval on, and initiate payments. This person should be comfortable in a heavy workload environment and manage it with energy and accuracy. Should be a team player proficient in Microsoft Excel. Attention to detail is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs - Handling accounts payable for multiple companies - Analyzing workflow processes - Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures - Processing due invoices for payments - Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges - Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts Requirements: - Minimum of 3-5 years of Accounts Payable - Thorough knowledge of acceptable accounting principles - Knowledge and use of accounting software and Excel (knowledge of Sage a plus) - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Excellent organizational and analytical skills - Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Please apply on-line with resume and cover letter.
