Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced individual to be responsible for the full cycle Accounts Payable process in a friendly team environment. The ideal candidate will have good organization skills, be detail oriented and will place an emphasis on accuracy. This position works closely with Accounting Management and reports directly to the Controller. Key Job Duties: Review invoices of assigned vendors for appropriate documentation and approval Perform 3- way invoice matching to verify prices and quantities Code invoices to the proper G/L accounts Research and resolve invoice discrepancies Reconcile AP statements Reconcile AP prepayments Audit and process credit card statements Process employee expense reports and ensure proper G/L expense coding Assist in weekly check runs Ensure that G/L accounts per Purchase Orders are correct Respond to all vendor inquiries File invoices daily Assist management with cash flow planning Obtain W-9s from vendors and assist in preparation for year-end 1099s Reconcile A/P aging to G/L on a monthly basis Assist in month end close (JEs, bank reconciliation) Requirements: Minimum two years of experience in Accounts Payable preferred Proficient in Excel SAGE software experience helpful but not required Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
