Accounting Manager - Manhattan, New York, NYWe are assisting a global, diamond and jewelry wholesale company in their search for an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Double- Entry accounting, and financial reports and reconciliations.Hybrid position- 3 times/week in the officeResponsibilities include: Utilizing ERP and accounting software to prepare financial statements, with a strong focus on inventory accounting Managing general ledgers, AP, AR, tax payments and reporting Ensuring that monthly, quarterly and year end close happens accurately and on time Sales tax reporting and payments Preparing budgets and managing the company's cash flow Payroll and HR compliance (Paychex), entries and reconciliations Providing support for annual external financial audits Maintaining communication with external CPA Participating in regulatory compliance best practicesDesired Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting of Finance (Required) Minimum 5 years of experience as Accounting Manager or Junior Controller Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail LANGUAGES: HEBREW writing and speaking skills are a big advantageThis position offers a competitive salary and a great opportunity for professional growth.
