Summary: Interested in this role You can find all the relevant information in the description below. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for the marine and powersport industry. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the company's overall financial health. Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain accurate daily and monthly accounting, as directed, including but not limited to: monthly general ledger reconciliation, monthly accruals, depreciation, A/P and A/R reports and statements, bank deposit preparation Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper valuation of inventory in accordance with accounting principles. Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and audits to verify stock levels and identify Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key insights and Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures and Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. Conduct regular audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. Collaborate with management to analyze financial performance and provide insights for decision-making. Maintain organized financial records and documentation for all transactions. Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry trends. Qualifications and Skills: Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of accounting experience Strong computer skills Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail Strong attention to detail and accuracy Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work well in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel to other Red Wing, MN locations on a daily basis Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, and lift up to 20lbs as required by this role Have a valid state driver's license Preferred: CPA or CMA certification is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management Experience working in an automotive, marine, or power sports dealership environment is preferred.
