Looking for a financial accountant to perform the following tasks at a company located in Brooklyn, OH. Responsibilities and Expectations Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling, and analyzing account information. Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Assists in the preparation of the monthly financial statements and supporting footnotes. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with remote employees, and outside accountants. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor 's Degree in Accounting required. 2 years of related experience Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills required. Knowledge in Peachtree required. Attention to detail, work with a sense of urgency and able to function in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and time management skills. Experience: related: 2 years (Required) Education: Bachelor's (Required) License: CPA (Preferred)
