Examine accounting records required to prepare tax documents ensuring compliance with payment, reporting orother tax qualifications. Review financial info and prepare preliminary financial and otherreports/statements to summarize current financial positions of clients and its affiliates. As required, provideexternal auditing services for clients. Document activities in accordance with established accounting andaccounting control procedures.Meet with clients to examine accounts and records. Assist clients in the establishment, modification,documentation, coordination and implementation of automated accounting and accounting control procedures.Advise clients in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting or dataprocessing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans.Prepare schedules for reporting of fixed assets. Identify bank account activities. Reconcile different bank andcredit card accounts of clients. Assist with the preparation of other reports required by management. Assist withyear-end closing adjustments. Assist in preparation of schedules required in audit of clients' accounts bygovernment regulatory bodies such as Internal Revenue Service, Franchise Tax Board, City of Los Angeles andBoard of Equalization.Requires a Master's Degree in Accounting and one year of background. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor'sDegree in Accounting and five years of progressive background, or any suitable combination of education, trainingor background thereof. No less than a Bachelor's Degree and 5 yrs of progressive background is acceptable.
