What would you do as BEHAVIOR Therapist As a Part Time ABA Therapist at Behavioral Intervention Psychological Services PC in Hempstead, NY, you'll play a vital role in delivering direct care under the supervision of a Qualified Health Professional (QHP). Your responsibilities will include implementing skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans tailored to each individual's needs. You'll collect essential data on skill acquisition targets and behaviors identified for Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP). Additionally, you'll complete treatment and service logs, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date. Effective written and verbal communication with your team members is crucial-whether through notes, emails, or phone calls.You'll also input data into our practice management software, attend monthly clinical meetings for case discussions, and participate in team meetings, fostering collaboration and excellence. Reliability and a strong work ethic are key traits that will help you succeed in this role.A valid driver's license and personal transportation are crucial for daily travel to client homes, allowing you to deliver impactful support right in their environment.
