Join our client as an Asset Management Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in providing asset management and Tier 1 support to over 800 distinguished Department of State executives worldwide. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain assets to ensure adequate inventory of workstations, laptops, cabling, and other equipment. Support the annual inventory process, including data entry, item transfer, disposal, and barcode scanning. Install workstations, thin clients, and printers at customer locations, troubleshooting setup and installation issues as needed. Collaborate with Service Desk Technicians to promptly respond to on-demand requests for Tier 1 support. Must Have's: Active Top Secret Clearance. Availability to provide 100% onsite support in downtown Washington DC. Basic understanding of Active Directory, OUs, and workstations. Experience responding to on-demand requests for Tier 1 support. 2 years of experience in an asset management role. Proficiency in configuring and installing network printers, local printers, workstations, thin clients, and laptops across various network classifications. Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Familiarity with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and ServiceNow. Understanding of Change Management processes and controls.
