Learn more at www.rmsmachining.com and www.cretexmedical.com.Material Handler SummaryThe Material Handler I will be responsible for issuing and staging raw material along with scheduling of shipments in carrier systems. This position will also help with communication of shipment information to production departments. This position involves routine dimensional and visual inspection of material and parts2nd Shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm ResponsibilitiesMaterial Handling Duties & Responsibilities * Schedule shipments in UPS/Fedex/DHL and Courier systems * Scan and confirm accuracy of paperwork into internal document storage system * Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve * Review, and update work instructions and standard work * Create documentation and commercial invoices for international shipments as necessary * Complete cycle counting requirements and update in ERP system * Review and confirm accuracy of products ready to ship * Issue and stage material for production * Inspect raw material with XRF analyzer * Operate: Computer systems, scanning equipment, electronic scales, forklift and other moving equipment * Adhere to all safety policies; includes wearing personal protective equipment when required * Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements * Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve * Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly * Participate in required company meetings * Maintain an organized work area (5S) * Participate in the Operational Excellence Program * Complete all other work duties as assigned * Ability to work in a manufacturing environmen * Operate and set-up (calibration, cleaning etc.) bandsaw, cold saw, and lathe * Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. feed & speed) * Feed raw material into machines * Inspect parts and raw materials with precision and measuring toolsQualificationsMaterial Handler Position Requirements * High School Diploma or equivalent * 1 year of experience in data entry and customer service in a manufacturing environment * Experience with an ERP system software * Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) * Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills * Attention to detail * Organizational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment * Ability to prioritize and multitaskrms Company Benefits As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
