Eight out of ten employees believe Fooda is one of their company’s top perks. Fooda is recruiting for Event Coordinators to join our team in Los Angeles to support an exciting client. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants. What You’ll Be Doing Work onsite daily to support a key Fooda client in Los Angeles (Hollywood/Burbank). Hours are 10:30 am - 2 pm (3.5 hours per day) Monday-Friday. As an Event Coordinator you'll support the Fooda lunch events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, and 2.) may serve as occasional back-up driver, delivering food to the client. Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders or late deliveries Troubleshoot technical issues with onsite technology Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer Facilitate audits of event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality Escalate issues to Operations Director when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve Who You Are: You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service You are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other people You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions You are a strong communicator and self-starter You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
