To those who qualify, Mission Essential Personnel (MEP) is currently looking for individuals who are fluent in Pashto and Dari for job opportunities in Afghanistan. The salary for this position is $184,500 -$210,000/year and we have full medical, vision and dental for you and your family. Qualifications for this position are: -- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder fluent in speaking Pashto, Dari, and English. -- Must be willing to obtain a Security Clearance -- Must be willing to travel overseas to Afghanistan *We offer a $6000 refer-a-friend bonus for each qualified applicant that is referred to our company that is hired, so please feel free to pass along my details* Duties for this position are: --Provide operational contract linguist support to U.S. Army operations in Afghanistan -- Provide general linguistic support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences -- Interpret and translate written and spoken communications -- Transcribe and analyze communications -- Perform document exploitation -- Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key details -- Translate foreign language documents -- Identify and extract info components meeting military info qualifications -- Provide input to reports In addition we offer free Pashto classes in various locations.
