This is a 24 mon project with our client in Schenectady, NY Job Description: Daily administration of a large-scale Windows environment leveraging a multitude of Microsoft based technologies including Active Directory/DNS and Windows server 2008/2012. Particular emphasis on designing, implementing, and managing technologies centered around enterprise PC and laptop management including: · Leveraging Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to manage inventory, perform network based OS installations, and provide software updates. · Experience managing Windows seven devices in an environment leveraging roaming profiles, folder redirection, and offline files. · Leveraging Microsoft technologies to create PC pictures including the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and Microsoft Windows Automated Installation Kit. · Leveraging Active Directory Group Policy to manage the configuration and security of Windows seven PCs. · Managing a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. · Leveraging Forefront/Systems Center Endpoint · Protection to provide antivirus and antimalware protection to Windows seven PCs. Mandatory Requirements: · 8 or more years demonstrated performance in related technology. Experienced in topics such as complex networks, messaging, cross- platform integration and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation. Desirable Experience: · Min of 48 mons experience designing, implementing, and maintaining a Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) solution to manage inventory, provide network based OS installations, and provide software updates to an environment of at least 1000 PCs. · Possession of a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 certification or a 2012 Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE): Server Infrastructure certification. · Min of 36 mons experience leveraging Microsoft technologies to create PC photos including the Microsoft Deployment Toolkit and Microsoft Windows Automated Installation Kit. · Min of 36 mnths experience managing Windows seven devices in an environment of at least 1000 PCs leveraging roaming profiles, folder redirection, and offline files. · Min of 60 mons experience leveraging Active Directory Group Policy to manage the configuration and security of Windows clients in an environment of at least 1000 PCs. At least 24 mnths of that experience must be in managing Windows seven clients with AD 2008. · Min of 36 mnths experience managing and maintaining a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure of at least 200 concurrent users using Citrix Xendesktop or VMware View. · Min of 24 mnths managing and maintaining Forefront/Systems Center Endpoint Protection in an environment of at least 1000 PCs.
