You will be charged with: Understanding and implementing automotive quality qualifications as well as PPAP processes. * Conducting audits/surveys of new and existing suppliers. * Validating process capabilities studies for suppliers. * Recommending and approving suppliers. Qualifications: - Undersanding of the OEM (General Motors/Chrysler) warranty systems and analytical skills - At least 5 yrs background as a Supplier Quality Engineer dealing with electrical interior switches and electronics. - Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. - Knowledge of ISO 9000. - Knowledge of conducting SPC, PPAP and issue solving. - Able to work well with suppliers, departments, customers and management.
