Stonegate is hiring an Escrow Administrator.POSITION SUMMARY:The Escrow Administrator supports Stonegate Mortgage Corporation HIP Department Management, Project Managers, customers, and vendors by maintaining all documents related to the renovation project and contractor validation. This position is responsible for completing administrative tasks as assigned; providing superior customer service; presenting a professional image, and maintaining excellent communication with all Stonegate Mortgage customers and/or offices. Duties include opening monitoring, and closing repair or completion escrow accounts; communicating with borrowers and contractors and providing updates as required; maintaining accounts by regularly upgrading details; interacting with customers by answering questions over the phone or through direct contact; assisting clients with paperwork such as furnishing necessary documents, completing forms, and understanding contracts. The Escrow Administrator ensures that all documentation is complete, precise and accurate. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS•Offer the highest level of customer service to HIP management, customers, vendors, and Stonegate staff. •Consistently demonstrate a helpful, professional attitude in all interactions with customers, whether in person or on the phone.•Communicate escrow draw process to borrowers and contractors, verbally and in writing. •Assist in the contractor approval process and increase network of approved contractors.•Schedule and review final inspections; verify HUD/FHA acceptability.•Manage title update process; alleviate and release any mechanics liens.•Request and deliver payments to contractors, borrowers, and/or sellers utilizing the USPS, UPS, or in person. •Verify and/or repair escrow balances and close escrow accounts when work is complete and all tasks have been accomplished.•Update and close files in FHA Connection.•Verify that the document trail is complete and accurate, an upload all documents into electronic storage system.•Manage and clear all escrows held by Stonegate Mortgage Corporation, including FHA 203K, FHA 203B, and VA files.•Other duties as assigned.OTHER FUNCTIONS•Desire to take personal responsibility to complete tasks and solve problems.•Ability to perform tasks and complete projects with minimal supervision.•Represent Stonegate Mortgage Corporation in a professional manner by dressing professionally daily while in the office or when attending events.•Practice Stonegate Mortgage Corporation Core Values:oWe are accountable for results and we deliver.oWe act with integrity and show respect.oWe are passionate about our business.oWe are accessible.oWe adapt to and create change in pursuit of our success.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCETo perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience:•2 to 4-year degree in business or finance.•2 - 5 years’ mortgage processing or related functions.•Mortgage industry and/or Financial services experience is preferred. •Knowledge of FHA and conventional mortgage regulations, rules and procedures; FHA Connection experience a plus.
