Ricoh is hiring a Sr. Manager, Casualty Claims & Safety Management/Risk Management in West Caldwell, NJ! POSITION PROFILEResponsible for implementation and administration of the Company's risk casualty insurance claim management and safety and loss prevention. Responsible for coordinating related Risk Management initiatives with other departments and field personnel, as well as insurers, claim administrators and other vendors. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Manages insured claims, directs the handling of Workers Compensation, auto and general liability claims * Manages the costs associated with retained losses, deductibles, self-insurance, etc. * Manages insurance brokers, insurance companies, 3rd party administrators and monopolistic programs * Works with the legal department to manage and direct management liability claims, environmental claims, OSHA regulations and insurance contract provisions. * Serves as Trustee of the Barnes and Tucker Insurance Trusts. * Coordinates Risk Management Department's casualty and safety activities with other field & corporate groups. * Assists Field personnel with bid and contract provisions related to casualty insurance, safety, etc. * Designs, implements and administers the Company's corporate loss prevention and safety program. * Chairs the Corporate Safety Committee. * Responsible for mentoring and developing staff. * Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience and Certifications) * Requires 4-year college diploma or equivalent experience. * 10+ years of related background wanted. * Risk Managerial experience with expertise to design and manage large multi line insurance programs that afford adequate & appropriate coverage at optimum premium. Familiar with carriers, brokers and large deductible programs and allocations, budgets, claim reserving, accruals and general insurance accounting. * ARM, CPCU, RF or other certification preferable.
