The Audit Group of this Kforce client is looking for an IT Auditor for a 6-12 mon contract. The IT Auditor delivers independent and objective assurance services that support management in striking the balance between risk and controls, and help the Board of Directors fulfill its governance responsibilities. They perform independent process, financial, compliance, and technology audits, consistent with professional standards. The Division also reviews specific operations or processes at the request of the Audit Committee or Senior Leadership.The Technology Audit role in this Division focuses on assessing the process and controls supporting world class technology across all technology platforms at the company. The Technology Auditors assess controls related to emerging payment technologies, mobile solutions, Cloud computing, integration with social media applications, and countless other complex technology solutions supporting critical business processes and risk management activities throughout the enterprise.Functions:Participate as a key team player on technology audit projectsAssist team leaders and senior / managers in accomplishing audit objectives in a team environmentDocument processes under reviewUnderstands, identifies, evaluates, and documents key risks and controlsExecute audit tests competently in accordance with policies and procedures, and with moderate supervisionDemonstrate knowledge and proper application of sampling techniquesSummarize and communicate resultsDevelop recommendations to close identified control gapsEnsure effective and efficient execution of audits in conformance with professional and department standards, budgets, and timelinesProficient use of automated work papers and other department and company tools is expectedMaintain internal audit competency through ongoing professional developmentThe successful candidate will possess the following qualifications (items are required unless noted otherwise):Specializing in IT Risk Assessments, IT Audit preparation (SAS70, SOX, J-SOX, and CMS), IT Controls Policies and Procedures implementation, and IT Audit testingOur client needs someone that has SOX, IT Governance, IT Audit, and Change Management (SDLC) implementation experience.Change Management Guru - this is someone with a experience in implementing change management, internal audit, SOX compliance, IT Controls, Policy / Procedures writing, etc. This will be a 6-12 mnth contract assignment.Specifics:Demonstrated work experience of integrity, great communication, innovation, and excellenceFor consideration, please send your resume to Paul Montoya at (click to respond)Listing originally posted at http://www.amightyriver.com/job-search/sr-it-auditor-sox.8695265.html
