Position Summary: This position will be responsible for understanding the financial operations and processes for the Samsung Telecommunications business units. Provide assistance with financial reporting and analysis, specifically with the Credit and Accounts Receivable departments. This position will participate in process evaluation, ad hoc reporting, special projects, and various financial duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will: •Coordinate with the various organizations within STA to document processes •Work on assigned project as directed by Managers of AR and Credit or Director Sales Finance •Participate and/or lead continuous improvement projects •Cross train to support or back fill credit and AR departments •Develop and analyze financial reports •Solve poorly defined issues, create and deliver presentations to higher level management regarding solutions •Create ad hoc reports as requested •Specific to credit•Project owner of large scale, sophisticated Vendor Finance agreements in an effort to drive sales and diversify funding solutions for our customers. Must be able to lead and drive the process in its entirety. •Lead and document discussions related to credit and / or vendor financing meetings, maintain files and independently perform high level analysis and research. •Specific to AR•Lead special collections and reconciliation projects •Perform reporting activities for leadership and Korean headquarters Background/Experience to qualify for this position, the following minimal background and skill levels are required: •A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or Financial related field from a four-year college or university. •1-3 years in the area of business analysis/management consulting at a consulting firm •Strong analytical skills •Project management experience •Experience in with MS tools, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills,Apply at: http://careers.us.samsung.com/sta
