Job Type: Solar/PV Installer Jobing Description Phoenix Energy Products LLC DBA PEP Solar is seeking applicants to install residential and commercial grid-tied PV systems on roofs. In this position, the Installer will provide support to the crew lead of the installation team, communicate job status data to the operations management, and ensure the completion of installation of all solar arrays/systems. It is the responsibility of every Installer to ensure safe work practices for the PEP Solar installation team. Responsibilities • Pulling inventory for each installation job • Pre-assemble job components in the warehouse and on job site • Layout and assembly of solar modules / array and mounting hardware on roofs • General roofing and carpentry activities • Document completion of completed installation to our General Manager • Clean up of job site and No Smoking on the Job • Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety: Solar Electric, Solar Hot Water, Solar Thermal Air Conditioning and LED Lighting Requirements • Team player and staying engaged looking out for each other for safety reasons • Minimum 3 years of experience in residential roofing and carpentry • Experience with the safe use of hand-held and power tools. • Ability to work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, crawl spaces, and knows how to walk on tile roofs. • Ability to set-up and climb ladders. • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs. • Must have a clean driving record and be able to sometimes drive to job site • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening • Previous solar installation experience is a plus but not required • Proficiency with Email and other IT preferred and must own cell phone • OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate strongly recommended • Understanding some electrical is a plus although you will be working under our electricians’ supervision when performing any electrical connection Additional Information Join the PEP Solar Advanced Energy Solutions team!
