Relocation is available.  It is the role and responsibility of the Black Belt position to support and achieve continuous improvement goals, and associated cost savings, by providing technical and team leadership ability to "Black Belt" projects identified by the Mill Site Leadership Team (SLT).  The successful applicant must lead continuous improvement (CI) projects; deliver project results for improved performance and real cost savings; design experiments; collect and analyze data; project, calculate, and track/report project savings; integrate CI into daily operations; and ensure compliance with Operating by the Guidelines (OBG) as related to 6 Sigma efforts. • Also must fulfill all qualifications for 6 Sigma Black Belt training and certification as established by our client. • Must demonstrate strong skills in the following areas: analyzing and solving problems; applying experimental design and statistical methods; technical understanding of the pulp/paper making processes; data-based decision making; attention to detail; interpersonal relationships and communication at all levels of the organization; developing action plans; coaching and training others to implement new processes and procedures; leading project teams; projecting and calculating cost savings.Listing originally posted at http://www.jobspider.com/job/view-job-3057121.html
