JOB ID: FLSA342 Job Title: Shipping / Receiving / Stock Clerk Company: Job Chit Chat Specific job related information: • You'll be responsible for pulling and packing items and labeling and shipping them (small packages mostly under 30 lbs although we do ship up to 150 lbs UPS and occasional pallet shipments). In short time, you'll need to be able to "eyeball" an item and determine its appropriate shipping box without having to measure its dimensions before. • You'll need to become familiar with the sizes (dimensions) of products, SKU numbers, and also with brand names of products. • You'll be responsible for stocking the showroom and organizing stock on the warehouse's racks. Equipment to be used: forklift and pallet jack, tape gun, computer, printer, scale. • Individuals with warehouse management experience are encouraged to contact us. Qualified Applicants must have the following skills: • Must have shipping and receiving experience in the recent past. 1 year minimum • Must have basic QuickBooks experience (our company is currently using QuickBooks Enterprise) as QuickBooks is used in our warehouse. We also use software such as ShipGear, ShipRush for Stamps.com, and WorldShip. Shipping carriers we use include UPS, USPS, etc. • Must have bill of lading experience. • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds individually. Must be able to communicate very well • Must be able to follow direction and take notes when needed • Must be responsible, organized, tidy, a self-starter, and self-motivated. Location: Sarasota Salary: $22K - $30K/Year DOE Hours: Full Time - 9am-5:30pm: Hours you'll work will generally be from Monday through Friday various hours (anywhere from around 9 a.m./10 a.m. to around 5 p.m./6 p.m.).
