Need a Senior / Lead SaaS Engineer to be a supervisor of a team of 3. Will handle a lot of project work related to their SaaS offering; so, this person still needs to be hands-on technically, BUT will also evaluate and negotiate with vendors, do SLA management, sit with the business leaders and help make decisions about their platform, sit with clients regarding projects, etc. Very visible role, and needs BOTH a strong technical experience, but also the soft skills necessary to work with the business and C-level people on a regular basis. MUSTS: * Exceptional soft skills- able to communicate with the business leaders, have outstanding communication and presentation skills; must be able to establish credibility.
- Flexible environment- allow a partial work from home, flex hours to accommodate a long commute, etc.
- Company has plans to double revenue this year.
- SaaS experience.
- VMWare- Currently they are 30% virtualized, looking to increase that percentage. Do NOT need prior Management / Supervisory experience. Any Cloud experience is a BIG plus! This role is all focused on the SaaS...internal IT support is outsourced including Desktop / Help Desk responsibilities. On-call will initially be on a rotating basis among three people, but that will be going down to once a month and only for Tier-3 calls. The off hours support will be very minimal. Selling points: * Will get Cloud experience.
- Daycare center in the building.
- Right now they are a Windows environment, but are looking at possibly migrating everything to Linux. Will look at a straight Windows person or a mix of Windows and Linux.
- Will get Linux experience.
