Senior Software Development Manager, Product Intelligence (Asset Management) Fulltime Employee Position Jersey City, NJ This is a great opportunity for a Senior Software Development Manager with heavy ASSET MANAGEMENT product intelligence experience. ROLE -- Hands-on development manager as a team leader implementing a target state technology platform that will help position product offerings. -- Key team member interfacing with the Technology, Operations, and Product Management groups to translate business vision into a concrete set of deliverables. -- Provide detailed architecture and design guidance to the development team. -- Ensure best practices are implemented through out the software development process. -- Manage relationship with senior members of the Product Management and Marketing teams. -- Strong working knowledge of product data and participate in quality efforts associated with this details. -- Formulate and implement business process improvements. -- Streamline projects and manage competing priorities. -- Enable and support Product Management initiatives. REQUIRED -- 10+ years leadership in financial software development. -- Recent BUY-SIDE ASSET MANAGEMENT experience. -- Knowlege of portfolio characteristics ie. Weighted Average Duration and Asset Classification. -- Familiar with characteristics of various security types, and basic financial mathematics. -- Familiar with business-specific data sources / toolsets. -- Experience accessing and integrating data stored in various of formats to derive portfolio characteristics or performance attribution. -- Good understanding of system architecture and system design. -- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts especially related to product info and security analytics. -- Proficient at establishing software development standards and monitoring implementation of software best practices.
