Senior Accountant

A large growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant with a desire to succeed! The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly financial reports including operations statistics, budget variance, and trending analysis; research technical accounting and financial reporting issues including ad hoc analysis for business unit managers and customers; prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements including journal entries; supervise clerical accounting staff; and assist in audit preparation. The Senior Accountant will have a bachelors degree in Accounting, with masters degree and CPA highly preferred; 3+ years of strong general ledger accounting, financial and operational analysis, and financial reporting experience; prior public accounting experience &/or large complex company experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to explain financial details to "non-accountants"; exceptional customer service focus; advanced computer ability including Microsoft Excel and the ability to extract data from an ERP; strong research ability; extreme attention to detail; and the desire to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
