Good applicants will belong to the ALA.The Position : Regional Office ManagerLocation : Philadelphia, PAThe Regional Office Manager will manage the administrative functions of the Philadelphia office to ensure the highest quality of service to legal personnel, maximize efficiency of administrative services and minimize administrative costs. Duties include: Plan, organize and direct the day-to-day business operations of the office. Coordinate orientation and training for all new personnel in office procedures and practices. Administer support staff evaluation process. Coordinate workflow and assure adequate support staff coverage. Communicate, implement and enforce all Firm and local policies, practices and procedures. Work with the Managing Partner with respect to all non-legal issues. Evaluate secretarial sharing arrangements on a regular basis to ensure efficient use of resources. Oversee all aspects of the Mailroom, Supply Room and Records Department. Interact and negotiate with vendors. Supervise office inventory control system. Coordinate office space with various departments and the Facilities Department. Coordinate space planning, alterations and relocation with Firm resources. Coordinate office maintenance. Approve payment of all general office-related accounts payable. Work as liaison between Finance, IT, Facilities, HR and Client Development. Formulate annual budget proposals and forecasting, including preparation of operating budget.QualificationsHands-on background with office, financial and personnel management,ideally in a law firm.Bachelors degree preferred; PHR certification a plus.Superior written and oral communication expertise and strong people skills.Expertise to prioritize and coordinate work.Expertise to maintain confidential details.Expertise to make objective, independent judgments and think critically in a pressured environment.Strong problem-solving expertise and positive, results-oriented approach.The Perfect applicant Please include the following : Resume or CV (PDF) form Large, Law Firm Background ...
