Quality Manager Food Industry WI Relocation No Location South Central Wisconsin (Between Madison and Milwaukee) Company is seeking an experience Quality Manager to provide the Leadership, Knowledge, Product Quality and Internal Auditing needed or as required to maintain and comply with the regulatory and quality standards and their application during conversion process to ensure customer and consumer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Delivers a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) with a goal to drive to zero defects which drive quality and safety to our product. Ensures safe and quality products which meets customer and consumer qualifications and expectations. Ensure HAACP, GMPs, Sanitation, Quality and Regulatory Standards are met. Ensures conversion process is stabilized and controlled. Ensures changes affecting manufacturing activities (engineering, prospects, maintenance and repairs) do not compromise quality standards. Minimize / prevents customer and consumer complaints Oversees the Quality Control Team Education, Experience and Abilities Required: Min of 5 years experience in Quality Assurance leadership position. Bachelors degree in Food Science or related position. Education or experience may be submitted for the degree. Current expertise of regulatory qualifications ( i.e. FDA, USDA, State, etc.) Strong understanding of Plant QA Systems (i.e. HACCP, Environmental Pathogen Monitoring, Pest Control, etc.) Must have a sufficiently broader experience including but not limited to: à Quality Programs and Procedures à Product Specifications / Regulatory à Process Capability and Control à Applied Food Safety à Sanitation Must possess strong leadership, communication, follow-up and management expertise. Expertise to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Current knowledge of Microsoft office suite, Ms word, Ms excel, PowerPoint etc. Company is a leading national private label and contract packing food manufacturer. They provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers. MUST HAVE!!!!! 1. 5 yrs experience in Quality Assurance leadership position in food industry or related. 2. Bachelors degree. 3. Working understanding of regulatory qualifications ( i.e. FDA, USDA, State, etc.) 4. Strong understanding of Plant QA Systems (i.e. HACCP, Environmental Pathogen Monitoring, Pest Control, etc.) 5. Experience with Quality Programs, Product Specifications, Process Control, Applied Food Safety, Sanitation. 6. Local or close enough for a short easy move.
