Purchasing Manager Location: Chicago North Relocation: NO Works directly with Vice Presidentto set department goals and objectives for cost reduction, projects, order placement and review staff staff performance. Investigates trends in basic raw materials and supply prices, recommends the timing and quantity of purchases. Within level of authority places orders and ensures all inventory computer entry of purchase orders, supplier numbers, part numbers/descriptions is performed in an orderly and timely manner. Will be responsible for operating under GMP's and company SOP's. Arranges the sale of scrap or obsolete materials. Notifies suppliers of any rejected material and coordinates replacement and/or reimbursement. Performs any other duties as assigned by management. MUST HAVE!!!!! 1.Self starter with either 2. BA?BS Degree 3. 5 Years background in a professional pharmaceutical environment 4. Two or more years of managerial experience. 5. Adapt well to change, manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent unexpected events or delays. 6. Security Clearance Some great thing about the company.
