alt="Job Summary" />Purchasing AgentLocation: Fair Lawn, NJ Category: OtherStatus: Temporary/Contract Reference: US_EN_2_106027_223566Salary: N/A Posted: December 04,2012Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of Scientific and engineering professionals, has an immediate opening for a contract value stream planner / buyer with 1 of our best customers in Northern NJDescription:The role must have strong supply chain skills in ERP modules for inventory, planning, bill of material maintenance, forecasting, purchasing, and parameter setting activities to support Kanban, "Lot for Lot" manufacturing in a highly complex/constraint driven manufacturing process.Must be able to demonstrate strong skills in establishing safety stock levels, re-order points, economical order quantities, economical production quantities, lead times in performing data maintenance activities to adjust the make/buy processes in the "Plan for Every Part" concept.Should have comprehensive knowledge of planning techniques to support lot controlled intermediate bulk driven planning processes to produce optimal finished goods production scheduling and sequencing to support daily and weekly scheduling activities in low volume/high mix production environment.Must execute standard work activities by releasing purchase orders from approved suppliers, as well as expedite materials from supplier, monitor receipts to warehouse, schedule testing with quality control, and ensure availability for manufacturing.
