This is a 24 mon project with our client in Columbia, SC Mandatory Requirements: · IT project lead or management experience · Strong understanding health insurance concepts (eligibility, claims, provider management) · Effective communication · Solid understanding of legal principles, especially as relates to public Healthcare · Ability to deliver criticism in a non-accusatory manner. Desirable Experience: 1. MEDICAID experience 2. MMIS system experience 3. MEDICAID IT Architecture (MITA) 4. State Medicaid Manual 5. Medicaid Enterprise Certification Toolkit (MECT) Scope of the project: The IV&V project performs verification and validation activities for the replacement MMIS and member management projects for SCDHHS. The technical lead will provide deliverable quality assessment, contribute toward management of risks normally encountered in large, public-sector projects as SCDHHS updates or replaces their aging structured mainframe systems.archives Daily Duties / Responsibilities: · Attend project meetings · Develop formal assessment reports · Perform independent review of project deliverables and processes · Identify areas of risk to cost, schedule, scope and quality · Provide recommendations pertaining to risk mitigation or contingency options · Identify deviations from plans or execution of plans that may jeopardize the project. · Perform objectives while remaining neutral with observations/decisions · Involving all parties · Ensure all proper communications are identified, documented, and take place · Confirm quality throughout the project · Document findings for state and CMS reference in decision-making · Develop plans and assist with formal gate reviews as needed · Participate in quality and testing activities, if necessary, to ensure that defects are identified and addressed · Serve as 'honest broker' in investigating post-implementation issues with Systems, vendors, and business operations · Provide reports detailing work planned, in progress, and recently completed · Perform daily risk / issue reviews, · Be accountable for in-depth project knowledge · Contribute knowledge of CMS and MITA regulations and changes All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, sex or age.Listing originally posted at http://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmtlaXNlci42NjY3OS4yMjAwQHRhaWx3aW5kLmFwbGl0cmFrLmNvbQ
