Description:
To assist in the implementation of a project dedicated to linking pediatricians with community based organizations that support quality early learning and childcare in order to ensure that parents of young children are aware of essential resources that are important to families. To assist in the development of an advocacy/community pediatrics track for pediatric residents and to assist in teh implementation of a medication administration training program for childcare centers. This project will also try to promote health in the childcare and early learning setting as well as promote the education of pediatricians. The project assistant will assist with the administrative coordination of this effort- including organizing meetings/conference calls as well as contribute to the development of educational brochures, educational opportunities, web sitebuilding, and outreach to the community. Good written ,verbal and communication abilities as well as strong technical skills required.
