Description:
Role Summary: This supervisor role requires a strong operational and analytical mind to supervise the activities of the production workforce. The main objectives are: safety, quality, cost/productivity, and customer delivery. This requires a thorough understanding of the goals to analyze performance to plan and determine root cause and countermeasures as appropriate.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: · Directly lead and manage the production workforce.· Work with associates in the area to maintain a safe work environment and develop proactive preventative measures to reduce potential hazards.· Work with associates to produce a quality product and maintain quality compliance.· Work with associates in the area and supporting engineers to investigate root cause for defects and implement countermeasures.· Actively lead associates to meet cost/productivity as well as customer delivery requirements and determine the most effective utilization of all resources.- Lead continuous improvement activities to improve processes and drive accountability.- Develop and foster a culture of improvement activity and involvement.Qualifications:- Proven experience in managing/leading people.- Change agent, able to develop, lead and execute transformation.- Bachelor's Degree in business administration, business management or engineering; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with other departments and associates at all levels of the organization.- Must be fluent in English - Effective written and oral communication skills - Effective time management, problem solving and decision making skills- Proven cross-functional team leader/member- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever changing environment, with minimal supervisionOther Qualifications Preferred:- Prior manufacturing experience- Experience with FDA RegulationsPLEASE CONTACT ME WITH INTEREST!
