Description:
Will manage the ERP system while receiving customer orders and issuance of work orders to the production floor. Will maintain inventory levels, act as the production interface between purchasing, finance and shipping. Will work closely with production supervisors to ensure schedule execution to meet the delivery requirements.Key responsibilities include:• Understand and troubleshoot Oracle software issues• Maintain customer order quantities and delivery dates• Schedule and release production quantities for extensive production operations with multiple workstations on the production line• Oversight and ownership of data integrity of multiple databases• Prepare reports and communicate with employees, staff and customers regarding potential issues affecting schedule or production changes• Use MRP to procure critical commodities and insure components are delivered on time so that production schedules are met• Batch job schedule maintenance and traffic control• Maintain floor inventory levels• Record keeper of work center cycle-times for planning• Prepare all required reports from the Oracle system• Receive and track production reportsSkills/ RequirementsRequirements:• Associate's degree and a minimum five years production planning work experience• A minimum seven years manufacturing experience• Basic understanding of a manufacturing environment with multiple work/machine centers • Intermediate experience in using an Oracle system and utilizing their experiences to organize inventory levels and production volumes• Intermediate experience with electronic scheduling systems• Intermediate troubleshooting skills and methodology• Intermediate understanding of MRP principles and lean manufacturing concepts• Basic ability to think analytically• Basic ability to effectively organize, prioritize and execute tasks• Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office Suite (including advanced Excel skills)• Basic skills in using general office equipment• Advanced communication skillsImportant NotesWill be required to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
