Pricing Analyst
GENERAL REQUIREMENT
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing detailed financial analysis and executing pricing strategies in the preparation of compliant Cost Plus, Fixed Price and T&M cost proposals in accordance with RFP and internal requirements. The candidate will be responsible for the management of the cost proposal process from the Draft RFP through proposal submission. Additionally, the candidate will support DCAA audits of the submitted proposal as needed.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following:
• The candidate will develop routine to complex pricing for medium to large proposals working cross functionally to collect the necessary data for pricing effectiveness while developing price – to – win cost strategies.
• The candidate will provide input into proposal schedules as well as templates and pricing instructions for subcontractor proposals, interpret inputs from the technical estimators, perform direct and indirect rate analysis, develop business cases, participate in pricing reviews and assist in the negotiation process.
Must be able to perform duties in accordance with the customer Statement of Work (SOW). Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous program and proposal financial experience in a government contracting environment
• Possess well developed planning and analytical skills
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to interact will of levels of management
• Working knowledge of FAR and CAS regulations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on well-developed Excel skills.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• MUST be a US Citizen
• Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance of secret level or higher; interim may be required before starting employment.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Level 1 - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field from accredited four year college/university with six years of relevant experience.
Additioanl Skills:
• EVMS/M*PM experience is desirable
• Experience with Deltek
• ProPricer experience is desirable
SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with Experience
