Assembler is highly skilled to perform three or more inspection functions in the assembly process, which will include surface mount. This function may require soldering and rework skills. The work requires fine motor skill dexterity, accuracy and continuous mental and visual attention. Work at this level is completed to IPC-A-610 current specifications. Job Requirements Basic math skills Good communication skills Ability to read and write English Knowledge of IPC-A-610 current specifications Looking up inspection criteria in a database Visual inspection of electronic assemblies-Excellent near-sighted vision is required Xray inspection of electronic assemblies Creation of non conformance reports using microsoft word Use of complex shipping, tracking, routing, scheduling database Use of AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) machine. Applicant will need to load an inspection recipe, and do minor modifications before running it. If they have knowledge of standard windows keyboard shortcuts, and are very comfortable working with computer, I can easily teach them the use of the software.
