Description:

Payor Coordinator needed immediately for national health care related company. Long term temp position. This position will perform quality assurance activities and administrative support for the designated payer team. Reviews payor-related documentation for accuracy and makes the necessary corrections as needed. Verifies insurance details and computer data entry for accuracy and completeness and resolves discrepancies as needed. Obtains clinical details needed to support payor medical necessity requirements and to support the billing process. Processes info received from intake and branch personnel. Organizes and catalogs incoming documentation for the department. Facilitates communication between the branch personnel and departments. Complies with and adheres to all regulatory and compliance areas, policies and procedures, and ''best practices." Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor. Hours are 8am-5pm Monday - Friday For immediate consideration please forward resume to (click to respond) Skills/ Requirements Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required. At least 2 yrs of related experience is required. Proficient computer skills, including word-processing, database management, spreadsheets, email and calendaring.
