Charisma Media’s Corporate Distribution Center is seeking individuals to assists with the operational functions of the Warehouse/Distribution Center.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. Able to move objects under 50lbs on a continual basis throughout the workday• Pick and pack orders• Perform quality control checks on orders before packing• Stocks picking locations• Prepares orders for shipment• Assists with restocking returned product as needed• Assists with loading and unloading trucks as needed• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the Distribution Center• Assists with annual physical inventoryEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE• High School Diploma or Equivalency• Warehouse experience not required but helpful• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish a plusCLERICAL SKILLS• Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Outlook or equivalent (e-mail)• Detail oriented • Possess time management skillsLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze and interpret common policies in the Distribution Center. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from in-house employees. Ability to effectively communicate to the Book Team Coordinator and the Distribution Center Manager.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to process basic math equations REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsPHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee will be on their feet. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. For safety reasons the employee must have good hearing. WORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
