Serve 300 hours, concentrated during the tax filing season and receive a $2,000 stipend as well as a $1,132 Education Award. Complete IRS TaxWise certification (free training provided) at the advanced level. Provide free income tax assistance to low and moderate income taxpayers at VITA sites in York County. Provide friendly and helpful customer service to taxpayers and maintain client confidentiality. Other duties as assigned. SecureCorps is an AmeriCorps program. This is a wonderful opportunity to build your resume.
