Job Description: Job PurposeAs a Retail Project Merchandisers (RPM), you will be part of the largest flexible retail merchandising team in the country teams. Although a specific set of work hours and a permanent work schedule is not guaranteed, ASM is the largest provider of retail in the industry and offers a significant amount of opportunities.Job ResponsibilitiesNew Items: will work on the achievement of business objectives through placement of new items at all assigned stores.Distribution audits: will work to meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs and ensuring signage are in place.Reset Activity and Schematics Completion: must be able to maintain schematic standards by ensuring all authorized items are in distribution and set to shelf standards. Must be able to maintain schematic integrity through consistent communication with Retail Supervisor and other retail personnel.POS Placement: hangs shelf signs, places coupons on product, etc as directed by client.Display Building: assembles Job Requirements: Must be able to work independently Good analytical and problem solving skillsEffective communication skills (verbal and written)Must be comfortable interacting with ASM supervisors and store level personnelGood organizational and time management skillsShould have basic understanding of retail merchandising and merchandising terminologyHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Other Requirements/ExpectationsYou will be expected to log into the reporting system frequently (several times per week) to review and schedule opportunities in your areasYou should accept work that you are qualified and comfortable performingOur expectation is that all work selected will be completed on time, with qualityInfo will be reported through the ASM system within 24 hours of the completion of the service callMust have a home based computer with internet access and basic computer skillsMust have access to fax machineAbility to receive and send emailAbility to download and print materialsAbility to take and send photographsMust perform the job safely and utilize proper safety techniques and use of equipment when appropriate.Travel Requirements10%, overnight travel is not required on all projects, only a select few.Physical DemandsNever (0% of shift): Lifting and/or Carrying 52 - 74lbs.
