The mission of Imagine No Bullying Now is to educate children and adults about the affects of bullying. To let them know that it's okay to speak up and speak out if they or someone they know is being bullied. Everyone is equal and should be treated the same no matter what. POSITION SUMMARYImagine No Bullying Now is proud to announce the availability of a Special Events and Fundraising Internship at the Alpharetta, Georgia location. This position will play a strong supporting role in the management team. The internship will give the selected intern a chance to earn valuable experience in event marketing, fundraising, and recruitment as well as professional-level experience in corporate networking and business practices. NATURE AND SCOPESpecial Events and Fundraising Intern will be responsible for various duties under the supervision of the management staff. To learn more about Imagine No Bullying Now please review our website: www.imaginenobullyingnow.comDuties include: * Develop high-quality content and update social media outlets.* Respond to email and phone inquires about the Foundation.* Assist in the development of presentations and newsletters. * Assist Staff in fundraising initiatives and securing sponsors.* Research for fundraising efforts.* Assists staff in event preparation and managementDuration: November 1, 2012 – January 31, 2013 (flexible) Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible)* Excellent verbal and communication skills.* Must be willing to make cold phone calls and follow up with potential sponsors* Work independently and possess strong time management skills.* High standard of excellence and attention to detail.* Ability to work evenings if necessary.Imagine No Bullying Now has a foundation of giving love, laughter and peace to all.
