Kelly Services is recruiting for an Office Professional for our client in Harbor Beach, MI. This is a longterm temporary assignment. The role primarily focuses on ensuring that administrative tasks for the Site are completed in a timely manner. This person will work with the Senior Administrative Assistant to complete site administrative tasks. This person must possess a professional and mature attitude with the ability to maintain confidentiality. This person will be accountable to work independently and with a workgroup to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Some of tasks and responsibilities are listed below (not all inclusive): Handle routine and non-routine administrative tasks with little direction from supervisor.Gather department data and prepare routine reports utilizing various software packages (Ms word, Ms excel, Power Point and Access). Design and maintain spreadsheets and databases for communicating between teams. Primary focal point for Waste Manifest data input.Perform general administrative tasks including mail, records and file maintenance, travel coordination, procurement of office supplies and manage site e-mail distribution lists. Serve as focal point and resource for computer software, office tools, telephones and phone mail.Provide support for new member on-boarding process and department transfers (i.e.: manage organizational charts, distribution lists, computer registration, employee ID’s, etc.).Utilize Essential Suites and other office tools for EHandS data collection and reporting.Knowledgeable of SAP cost accounting system and MSMS requisition system (i.e.: purchase requisitions).Schedule and coordinate internal and external events (service recognition, plant recognition, United Way, flower fund, community event, etc.). Utilize Master Task List to assist with assigned compliance task completion (i.e.: universal battery waste).Utilize Electronic Log Book for recording and reporting daily operations meetings with key stakeholders. Requirements: Education:High-school degree or GED is required with two or more years of background in an Administrative Support role or transferrable skills. Associates Degree with focus on Administrative and Office Professional related position preferred. Critical Success Factors: Professional and mature attitude with the ability to maintain confidentialityAbility in Ms word, Ms excel, Power Point and Outlook required.Ability in Microsoft Access and Front Page is a plus.Ability to work unaided and to take the initiative in accomplishing job assignments.Excellent communication expertise with ability to interface well with wide variety of people.Positive attitude, with an open-minded approach to learning.Service-oriented and show attention to detail to produce quality results and assure dependability.Strong written and oral communication, organizational and file management expertise are necessary for this position.
