LOCATION: Glassboro, NJ QUALIFICATIONS: •Must be enrolled at an Accredited University, Full or Part-time •Must receive credits for this internship •Must be pursuing a degree in: -Marketing -Communications -Business Management -Public Relations-Restaurant Management -Other related major•Computer expertise in Microsoft Word & Excel (Efficient with Photoshop & Dreamweaver a plus but not needed)•Creative Thinking, Teamwork, & Organizational Skills•Outgoing, Honest, & Self-Motivated •Knowledge of upcoming social events on campus or in the area AVAILABILITY:•Whole semester- Fall, Spring, Summer•10-20 Hours/week PAY•Earned Credits•Commission (if applicable) RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS (include, but are not limited to):•Learn & understand bar/restaurant management and promotions•Brainstorm and create ideas for future events & theme nights•Plan/prepare/attend events and carry out assigned job duty•Distribute promotional materials throughout campus buildings, apartments, dorms, fraternities, sororities, salons, gyms, and other surrounding off-campus businesses•Create a buzz around campus of future events and theme nights •Update and maintain social networking websites especially Facebook•Update and maintain customer contact lists •Collect information on customers and friends•Organize promotional files and items•Gain valuable experience and network in the industry•Sharpen your Public Speaking & Leadership skills•And HAVE AN AWESOME TIME!
