This position is responsible for providing HR Leadership for a designated site location.Summary of essential job functions• Lead all aspects of HR functions including the development of site long-term strategies and tactical administration of day-to-day tasks in the following areas: Employee Relations, recruitment, training and development, compensation, policy and procedure compliance;• Develop and maintain partnerships with functional groups to integrate and implement strategic HR practices and systems to support business strategies• Manage the entire recruitment and hiring process at location by greeting applicants, explaining hiring process, collecting applications, schedule interviews, running background checks, etc.• Provide coaching and guidance to management in the handling of employee relations issues in an effective and consistent manner, while ensuring compliance with company policies, state, federal laws • Ensure HR, State and Federal Compliance is met at each location with proper postings, policies, procedures, etc.• Develops recommends and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting and approving invoices for payment.• Make recommendations for process improvement, document opportunities through PPMS • Administer entire benefit program with the help and assistance of our Broker. This may include but is not limited to new employee enrollment orientations at each location, open enrollment meetings, administering the programs online to ensure proper notifications to carriers of new enrollments, terminations, status changes, etc.• Assist with unemployment, verification of employment requests and other HR related items.• Assist with payroll utilizing the internal Payroll Process designated by PFG• Continue to create and suggest new ideas for employee relations. Ex. Treats, celebrations, acknowledgements, etc.• Assist with additional administrative support functions as needed (mail, faxes, payments, reports, data entry, etc.)• All other errands, projects, duties, as assigned Minimum requirementsRequirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 5 to7years of human resources experience required, Master’s degree preferred• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration, effective oral and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skills.• Proficiency in MS Office; experience using HRIS systems and/or ADP preferred• Excellent communication skill, both oral and written • High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal activities• Detail oriented, highly efficient, & positive attitude• Time management & organizational skills• Previous HR education, experience and/or training required• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred*Only candidates meeting requirements will be considered for interviews.
