Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Knowledge of counseling Adult and or Child 2. interventions 3. Knowledge of mental health services in Virginia 4. Knowledge of development of Individual Service Plan 5. Knowledge of behavioral interventions 6. Knowledge of mental health diagnoses 7. Strong communication skills 8. Strong written skills 9. Strong computer skills 10. bilingual strongly preferred but not required Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for delivering direct services to clients and families and writing treatment plans 2. Responsible for coordinating and linking client and his family to community resources 3. Responsible helping to teach parents effective parenting skills 4. Responsible for development and implementation of Individual Service Plans 5. Responsible for helping and teaching parents effective crisis intervention strategies 6. Responsible for formulating and coordinating discharge plans with the client and his family 7. Responsible for the documentation of service delivery
