Tampa, FLM-F, 1:00-7:30pmPay Rate: $16.00-17.00/hourResponsibilities:- Strong analytical and problem solving skills- Ability to multitask and set priorities- Monitor insurance claims by running appropriate reports and contacting insurance companies to resolve claims that are not paid in a timely manner- Identify problem accounts and reviews accounts for possible packaging of accounts, contract discrepancies, potential problems with client and make recommendations to AR Manager on proper course of action to collect account- When applicable work with patients and guarantors to secure payments on outstanding account balances- Strong organizational skills- Handle difficult patient calls to determine and resolve issues- Ability to prioritize workload and flexibility to work on several projects at 1 time- At least 3 yrs of related experience - Update the account database to identify actions that have been taken on the account- Possess and apply a thorough knowledge of collections and the ability to apply the knowledge to all aspects of patient account including insurance, billing, and collection process- Practice and adhere to the â??Code of Conductâ?? philosophyJob Qualifications:- Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionSkills Required:- Identify coding or billing problems fromEOBsand work to correct the errors in a time manner with audit team or client- Confer with patients by telephone in an attempt to resolve outstanding insurance claims- Mail form letters to insurance companies or customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts- Strong decision making and problem solving skills- High school or high school equivalent- Strong insurance company/hospital contract experience A MUST- one to two years post high school training- Sort and file correspondence- STRONG MICROSOFT EXCEL SKILLS REQUIREDEducation, Certifications and Experience:Debbie DuguayTargetCWPlease contact me with any questions:Email:(click to respond)Apply NowSend to FriendReturn to top ↑Listing originally posted at http://jcnlx.com/6452693c43a04ca48ed88cd71d5da253102
