Qualitek Services has an immediate Direct Hire opening for a Mazak Integrex Senior Manufacturing Engineer in Melbourne, FL. REQUIRED SKILLS **** Must be a US Citizen, or a US Permanent Resident**** ****There is NO relocation assistance available for this position****** Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5yrs of previous work experience. The incumbent will be required to use computer systems in preparing operation sheets, N/C programs and standards. For training and development purposes, assignments may include some work that is typical of a higher level. RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Support the fabrication of the most complex machined parts and sub assemblies by providing timely and accurate NIC programs and operation sheets. 2. Assure compatibility of engineering drawings and specifications with manufacturing and fabrication capabilities by reviewing drawing and making suggestions for changes and revisions to enhance producibility. 3. Coordinate with various departments and team members to assure the most effective design and use of manufacturing facilities and processes. 4. Establishes standard times for setup and run of each operation on assigned parts. 5. Originate and conduct studies directed towards more efficient manufacturing of parts. Includes recommendations for changes in equipment, processes, methods, materials and designs. 6. Establish tooling, gauging and fixture concepts. Review and approve tool, gauging and fixture design drawings. Estimates hours required to design and also fabricate tools and fixtures 7. Work with suppliers to coordinate operation sheets containing outside and inside operations. Assist suppliers in resolution of problems related to the manufacture of client parts. 8. Technically direct, guide or train Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, Associate Manufacturing Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers.
