Our client, a busy manufacturer, is currently seeking candidates for a material handler. This position will check goods received against purchase orders, sort, count and transacts received items. Storage and movement of all materials necessary to support production and customer requirements. It is essential for this position to maintain a team approach and Total Quality philosophy in all activities. REPRESENTATIVE MAJOR DUTIES Checks goods received against bills of lading, purchase orders, etc. Sorts, counts and checks received items. Performs accurate computer data entry for goods received. Places materials/goods received in appropriate areas for staging or storage. Works with accounting to verify receiving/invoicing discrepancies. Runs reports and organizes receiving paper work. Assists in other areas of the materials department when necessary. Picks and Delivers materials to Production Lines Component Assembly to drawings and/or work instruction Pack customer orders and process to ship via UPS/FedEx REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent required. MAPICS (or similar Material management system) experience required. Solid basic math skills as well as alphanumeric code matching accuracy Solid forklift operation experience Customer service attitude Attention to safety Demonstrated excellent work ethic and attendance record Shift: 6am-2:30pm Monday - Friday and must be available for Saturday OT.Send resumes to (click to respond)Listing originally posted at http://regionalhelpwanted.com/Search/detail.cfm?SN=2&ID=79280488
