Manager, New Business Development
POSITION OVERVIEWBackground: The 543 Group, Inc., an innovative full-service marketing and advertising agency based in Fishers, IN, seeks an experienced business development professional to help it achieve its growth objectives. This is intended to be a full-time role for the right individual, but may be negotiated as a contract position. Description:This role is designed for one primary purpose initially - to create more opportunities for the company's service offerings as a full-service marketing and advertising agency - to open doors through which our management team may enter to close prospective business. Our company is positioned to grow as much as 200-300% over the next two years, so there is significant opportunity. The role entails research to determine prospect potential areas of need, and making inquiries to prospective businesses in Indiana, surrounding states, and nationally. Extensive email and cold calling is required to be successful in this role, and social networking is also encouraged. The management team will provide numerous identified prospects and targeted lists of companies. The role includes a good commission for prospects that lead to closed business, as well as bonus opportunity for reaching/exceeding goals. There is NO limit or cap to compensation. Compensation is commensurate upon both experience as well as success.Core Responsibilities:•Research and identify new business opportunities in synch with business goals and objectives - with direct clients and other agencies•Initiate contact with identified qualified prospects, set initial phone calls and meetings, and provide follow-up•Review client proposals and presentations created by management team•Manage sales activity through established company tracking tools•Assist in developing value propositions that will resonate with prospective clients•Explore new opportunities to add value to the organization as a whole, including new business development strategiesQualifications:•Strong Motivation for Sales, with High Energy Level•Prospecting Skills•Selling to Customer Needs•Market and Industry Knowledge - a strong plus •Exemplary Organizational and Leadership Skills - High Level of Professionalism•Proven Track Record in Sales - Preferably 5+ Years•Bachelor Degree •Excellent Interpersonal, Communication and Presentation Skills•Proficiency in MS Office Productivity SoftwareTo learn more about The 543 Group, Inc., visit www.543group.com.
