**********************************************************************Position Title : Manager Engineering Test Software Quality Assurance " $ TOP PAY "( Hiring Now )ATTENTION : " $ TOP PAY "( Interviewing Now )********************************************************************** Relocation : No Location : Danbury CT Salary : Competitive Summary of Duties and Responsibilities * Organize and manage teams of engineering personnel for the purpose of verifyingand validating product designs according to FDA requirements and internal qualitystandards to meet project delivery commitments.* Accountable for ensuring execution against project schedules and Testing andValidation (T&V) standards/processes* Manage automated tools to support product development documentation andengineering process improvement* Responsible for direct report management including headcount, budget, expenseand personnel development* Works closely with Engineering Development, Advanced Technology,Application/Development and Product Management to create, develop, andcommercialize effective digital mammography products* Work with RA/QA, Manufacturing, and Service to provide technical support* Responsible for representing the T&V function during external and internal audits Qualifications : * Understand great Engineering practices and sound test methodologies* Knowledgeable and experienced in Agile development/project managementmethodologies is a plus* Capability to solve technical and management problems* Ability to work well with diverse groups of people at 2 sites, in addition topartnering with application/development managers* Promote and leverage the use of specialized T&V tools throughout the company* Ability to drive commitment to T&V team initiatives* Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously and adapt to changes inprogram priorities* Clear and effective verbal and written communication Education : Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Engineering,Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Experience : * A min of 5 (5) years of hands-on experience in verification andvalidation systems of software* Medical equipment or other equipment involving complex, multi-componentssystems* Experience doing T&V in a highly regulated industry such as medical oravionics* Experience with automation tools for testing applications* Min of 3yrs experience in project management and management ofteams and associates Specialized Knowledge :* Familiar with FDA requirements for product development processes preferred* Familiar with engineering process improvement methodologies * Familiar with automated PLM, requirements management, defect tracking,and configuration control tools* DOORS, ClearQuest and TestExecute or similar tools is a plus Bottom line : 1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field.2. 5 + years of hands-on experience in verification and validation systems ofsoftware.3. Experience with Medical equipment or other equipment involving complex,multi-components systems.4.
