Jr. It Support Specialist
We are currently looking for an Jr. IT Support Specialist who would be responsible for providing basic IT support for all of our departments. The Jr. Support Specialist is recognized as one of the first points of contact for any IT and phone issues that arise. Additionally, the position assists with the set-up and close-out of all IT related systems for new and department employees, tracks equipment and is responsible for oingoing support. Essential Skills: Thorough Windows XP/Windows 7 experience, trouble shooting, strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), antivirus, Malware removal, OS installation and configuration, VPN, RDP and Wireless 802.11xPreferred Skills: 4 year college degree, preferably in technical field or degree in progress. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, demonstrated experience in workstation hardware troubleshooting techniques, demonstrated experience in Windows operating system environments, technical knowledge of network, PC, and platform operating systems. Must be pro-active, self-motivated and self-directed, keep attention to detail, strong customer service focus.
