Instructional Designer Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday Job details The Instructional Designer is responsible for needs analysis, design, development and evaluation of high quality and cross functional learning programs and instructional materials to meet the learning needs of teammates, leaders and cross functional partners. Learning programs to be developed include: instructor-led, web-based training, mobile learning, job aids and other creative learning as determined by the organization. The Instructional Designer applies industry best practices as well as internal standards to ensure quality and effectiveness of learning deliverables. Responsibilities: Consults with key stakeholders to identify job tasks and knowledge/performance gaps Develops and maintains project plans in line with ADDIE Conducts learning needs analysis to identify the knowledge, skills and competencies required to complete job tasks efficiently and effectively Recommends, designs and develops creative learning solutions that include, but are not limited to, classroom, eLearning, and blended learning solutions Develops an effective instructional strategy/learning plan and design documents for each learning solution based upon established learning objectives and the characteristics of a given target audience Writes and edits storyboards, interactive scripts and other learning documentation Designs and develops print materials including participant and facilitator guides and job aids Authors eLearning and mobile learning using an array of authoring tools Ensures training materials content is clear, accurate, consistent and free of spelling and grammatical errors Leads and participates in special projects, including the piloting of new and emerging learning technologies, learning effectiveness, learning metrics, course delivery Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs and makes recommendations accordingly Effectively manages interactions with stakeholders, including meeting facilitations, expectation setting and on-going project correspondence Effectively and successfully manages multiple projects to achieve project goals and meet deadlines Works collaboratively with office, regional and store level stakeholders to achieve project goalsListing originally posted at http://www.jobspider.com/job/view-job-3182881.html
